Our First Home
STEMM Kids opened a storefront on historic Main Street in Stone Mountain, Georgia, which we shared with another local business owner. Students came after school for tutoring and for hands-on STEM projects. Alongside reading, writing, and math support, they worked on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a real, working space.
Our First Client Project
Our first project was a paid website update for a local business, ADG Enterprises. A group of our students worked on the site, and the finished result was delivered to the client with no complaints. It showed our students that STEM skills are real skills, and that they could earn a fee for professional work.
